Description

Asks for authorization to employ an 'additional' laboratory boy (see P5/3/9 (iv)), that the volume of work had become so great that he had had to employ a boy without authorization 3 weeks ago. That the large attendence of the physiology classes has created more work. The general increase of expenditure within the department (despite measures taken to reduce this). The inadequacy of the current laboratory grant. The continual need to purchase new equipment. The contribution of workers to the equipping of the laboratory and estimates that the laboratory requires at least £100/yr more to maintain 'ordinary upkeep'.
